It looks like rain, dear.
A beautiful walk this morning – the sun was shining like it was summer. Utterly delightful. Felicia was already up and gone by the time I was ready – last minute shopping, she said, though where she was going to shop at 8:05 is beyond me. Perhaps she drove up to London.
It was rather pleasant, really, to walk on my own for a change. I took a bag of pony nuts for the eight reindeer that appear to be right at home in the woods. They were in a bit of distress when I found them last night – they were all attached to the wreckage of a sled. Who uses a sled when there’s no snow? Tch.
Suffice to say we’ll be having venison for Christmas dinner. One of the deer appears to be ill. He has an inflammation of the nostrils and they look very red. He could just be addicted to cocaine, but how would he snort it without thumbs to hold the straw?
